We as members of the body of believers, redeemed and sanctified by the Lord Jesus Christ from sin through the washing of his blood, believe that God speaks to us his created beings through his reliable, dependable and unchanging word. And, that God’s word was written through men by the influence and inspiration of the Holy Spirit according to the scriptures, thus also making the word of God Holy, which means wholly clean and pure, separated, and consecrated for God's use, service, and purpose. And those who read and hear the word of God through preaching, as a result will also become Holy as they allow the word of God to influence their lives. We believe that living a Holy life starts when one has been born from above, or born again in the family of God through the working of the Holy Spirit. This is when one asks Jesus Christ by faith to come into his or her life to save him or her from sin, (which is the washing or removing the sin nature which causes one to want to sin, which was passed upon all human beings through the sin of Adam) by his blood which he shed for us on the cross of Calvary, and that God saved us only because of his grace and mercy and not by our own works and merits, as we believe in Jesus Christ receiving also the measure of the Holy Spirit in our life, and then follows the evidence of a Holy and consecrated life Then the believer is baptized or immersed in water as commanded by Christ as a public display that he has died, was burried and rose again with Christ to a new life in God. After that he or she is then ready to receive the baptism of the fullness of the Holy Spirit or the baptism of power, when the believer is baptized or immersed in the Holy Spirit as was commanded to every believer by our Lord before he returned to the Father, in which the initial sign upon receiving this baptism is the speaking of an unknown tongue according to the scriptures, as the Spirit gives utterance to the believer. Hence, the believer is equipped with power in his life through the Holy Ghost, to be an effective witness not only in word, but in deed, and by the life that he lives before non-believers, for the propagation of the gospel message that there is salvation from sin in Jesus Christ thru his death, burial and resurrection, that just as Christ, one should die and be burried in their old sinful life and be raised again to a new life in God, with a new nature that now desires to serve God. And this miraculous work of God upon those that believe is propagated by the church through evangelization, that is, through preaching, which is the proclaming of God’s Word, or through soul-winning, which is one on one witnessing with those who are not yet believers of Jesus Christ. This we believe and do, to obey the great commision of our Lord where it was commanded to all that believe in Matthew 28:19-20 “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” And also in Mark 16:15-18 "And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. "
