THE LOVER AND SAVIOR OF SINNERS

Mat 1:18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. 

Mat 1:19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily.

Mat 1:20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. 

Mat 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

In this verses of the Holy Scriptures, it speaks to us of Jesus as the savior of man from sin. The Bible said in

Rom 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Rom 3:9 …. for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin;

The effects of sin in the lives of men and women is never positive, but always and ever negative, because all that sin has to offer is degradation, and destruction of the body, soul, and spirit of man. All that sin has to offer is death misery, negativity, heartache and darkness. Darkness, because man is blinded by sin from knowing who God really is. God wants to reveal himself to man but man cannot see God nor understand God because of sin. Satan wants to blindfold men and women, so that they cannot see God nor the way that leads to God.  And God doesn’t want you and I to be blind and miserable in sin. God doesn’t want anyone to be destroyed in their soul. All that God wants is to save men and women from the danger that they’re in because of sin. And God wants to rescue you from the sin that’s destroying your soul like a cancer.  And that's what makes God a Savior, a Deliverer, A Redeemer, A Rescuer, and Sin has always been a killer.  Because sin is the total opposite of God who's always a life-giver.

Sin is a spiritual cancer.  And most people who have cancer, try to ignore the cancer in their body until it has already spread through out the whole body. But it doesn’t matter how sin perhaps may have overwhelmed you. It doesn’t matter how deep you are in sin, God is able to save you, and keep you safe from the death of sin. God is able to make it happen in your life, thru the blood of his Son Jesus Christ, and then he will make you prosper, and will give you peace, and abundant, and everlasting life, because it is never the will of God for anyone to die in their sin without giving them a chance to receive his salvation. It’s never the will of God for you to be unhappy and unsatisfied in your life. God wants people to prosper in every way because he’s the one who created us, and he created us in his image, and that makes us the most important creature of all of God’s creation. And since God created man, God wants man to be guarded at all times from sin and from satan. And satan’s sole purpose is to steal, to kill and to destroy man, body, soul and spirit. And satan seduces people thru the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of this life. The Bible said,

1Jn 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
1Jn 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
1Jn 2:17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

Satan has been successful from the beginning to make man sin against God with these very same weapons. He had successfully separated man from God by seducing man to commit sin against God. Sin is a great wall between God and man, even greater than the great wall of China or the iron curtain of Germany. That’s how bad sin is between God and man and God cannot be one with sin, God cannot fellowship with sin, because God is a holy God. God cannot be one with unrighteousness, the very reason why the first man and his wife were even driven out of the garden of God when they disobeyed against him and his word.

But God did not stop dealing with man since, but he wanted to salvage man whom he created in his own image? God did not stop to communicate with man because of his sinfulness, because later on, we read in the book of Hebrews:

Heb 1:1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
Heb 1:2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

These verses tells that God has been communicating and dealing with man in many ways by his prophets, speaking to them with warnings and signs and directions to save them from evil that may come their way, whether carnal or spiritual. And to guard them from the destruction of sin. And now is speaking to us thru his Son Jesus Christ by the Holy Ghost.

The wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life. The payment for sin is death. The sinner is a slave to sin and sin is his master. But God gives eternal life to everyone who departs from sin. I’d rather have God to be my master and not sin and the devil. I thank God that Eternal life is a gift from God, or else no one would be able to afford paying for it. God does not pay us eternal life because of the good works that we’ve done. Eternal life is given to us as a gift by God because we can never obtain it by our own self-righteousness. It’s too expensive, you cannot exchange eternal life with your good works.  And only because of his grace and mercy that God gives us eternal life. All we have to do is believe in his Son Jesus Christ and receive him in our life as Lord and Saviour.  Because it says in, 


JOHN 3:16, "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life.

God saves us to become his children, to become a member of his family; to become heir of his kingdom thru his son Jesus Christ which is our inheritance, and in return we should work for him as a faithful slave ready to do his will.  Now, how could one sinner become a child of God and an heir of God’s kingdom? It seems too good to be true. But God made it so simple for everyone to become a member of his family. It’s because of his goodness and mercy.  Is God really that Good? Yes, God’s been good to us since the beginning of time and showed us the fullness of his goodness thru his Son Jesus Christ when he sent him to save us from our sins.

2000 years ago, Jesus died on the cross and shed his blood as a sacrifice to get rid of the sins of the whole world. He did it for everyone of us that we might live and not die, and have eternal life. Jesus died for the whole world, yet not all the world received him. Only those that believed were saved and were cleansed from their sins and from its destructive effects.  All you have to do is believe in Jesus Christ thru his word.

The word of God is our help. The word of God is our refuge. The word of God is our food, our shelter, our defence. The word of God is what we need that we may live abundantly and eternally, thru the good news of Jesus Christ. The good news that God wants to save the sinner from his sin, if he believes in his Son Jesus Christ.  We cannot deviate from the word of God. We cannot change the word of God or wrest it, and try to twist the word of God, to make it say what it did not say.  The only thing that we can do about the word of God is to believe it, and to receive it in our hearts. And we can rest assure that the word of God will lead you into all goodness and righteousness, and holiness. The word of God will lead you to love Him, and to love people, and not hate people. The word of God will not lead you to descriminate a certain group or race. But it will lead you to love all races whom God made in his own image.  And the word of God sometimes is not gladly received by those who heard. The warnings of God are not gladly received by those who were warned. Because they think they’re in control and everything is going their way, and doesn’t need any help from anyone including God. But we need God to be in control of our lives.  The Bible said to take heed when you think you stand lest ye fall. The Bible said that pride comes before a fall. Sometimes people think, that they know more than God just because they have a little education. People sometimes are so smart in this world, yet are so oblivious and blind when it comes to the spiritual things of God.

You cannot play with sin and live. Sin will dominate the life of a man and will enslaved him and then kill him.  And the Bible said that God is not willing that anyone should perish but that all should come to repentance. If anyone ends up in the lake of fire for eternity, God is not to blame for it. God had already done all that he can to save and salvage anyone from the destruction of sin. It is man that sends himself into the lake of fire. The Bible said that God did not make hell for man but for the devil and his angels.  The Bible said that Jesus came to seek and to save that which was lost.  And God is speaking to us by the Holy Ghost thru his Son Jesus Christ. And his reaching out to you, and he wants to save you from your sin. He wants to restore you back to your true master and father who is God.  And the love of God is calling you to come to him and embrace him and make him the Father and Saviour of your life, thru his Son Jesus Christ.  The Bible said, 


That if thou shalt confess the Lord Jesus Christ, and believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Rom 10:11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. (or shall not be disappointed).

Rom 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
